LOL. I spent 10 minutes on this question and still got it wrong ._. Anyway I think you cant cancel out the similar terms from the numerator and denominator.

You cannot "Simplify" it. Because m +6n / m + n is actually m / m+ n + 6n / m+n. It would be wrong.
You cannot simplify when there is more then one term on either/both the numerator and the denominator
Cannot cancel the common factors as it is not multiplication, just leave it as m+6n/m+n
You cannot write 2 or more = signs! Also, m+6n/m+n is the answer, don't need to add more
