In the first photo, you can shown the 'distributive' method. On the other hand, from the 2nd line onwards, it's similar to the FOIL method.

For the 2nd image, the diagram is very clearly labelled, and you have also indicated how the area of each part can be found :) You would have to show how you have made use of the areas of the different parts founds to arrive at the final answer (i.e. the subtraction process). Please include that in this same post.
