(Viva Voce) Chap 9 Exercise 9 Question {8}

8. (a) Average speed : 360 km ÷ 4 1/2 h = 80 km/h
(b) Petrol consumption rate : 360 km ÷ 37.5 l = 9.6 km/l
(c) Distance covered at highway : 110 km/h * 2 h = 220 km
Remaining distance : 360 km - 220 km = 140 km
Remaining time : 4 1/2 h - 2 h = 2 1/2 h
Average speed for remaining distance of trip : 140 km ÷ 2 1/2 h = 56 km/h

    I have really nothing to say...its really good except for the fact I feel drowsy watching this video...Talk a little faster?

    Comments: Actually, try not to use digital presentation as in viva u are not suppose to do that ._. Talk faster also... dun nid to speak one syllabus at a time. Only (c) was explained well, (a) and (b) was very brief.

    Owen here doing the same qn. ._.

  4. 1. It's a good idea to go through the questions with the viewer to set the context.

    2. The formula needed for this question would be AVERAGE Speed = TOTAL distance travelled / TOTAL time taken.

    3. It's a good attempt to use the existing info to explain teh relationship between petrol consumption and the distance travelled before proceeding to find the rate required.

    4. For part (c), it's useful to list down information that you needed to find in order to work out the final answer. Good :)
