Question 14:
(a) Find the prime factorisation of 3375 and write your answer in index notation.

(b) Hence, deduce and write down
(i) the smallest 2-digit number that is a factor of 3375
(ii) the largest 2 digit number that is a factor of 3375
(iii) the smallest 3-digit number that is a factor of 3375
(iv) the smallest 4-digit number that is a factor of 3375

    wei siew put his hands into his pocket at the start, and Ishani was swinging for the whole time that she was speaking, and they did not explain the question before plunging into saying all the working which is as good as just letting us look at the paper.

    No eye contact.
    Ishani keep kicking her leg.
    WS's body language is poor .
    Not systematic.
    We can't see the paper .
    The solution is abit messy.
    We can hear them but don't really understand their solution.

  11. For the Prime Factorisation of 3375 when you say put the number in index notation, why did you start with 3 and not 5? Also how did you use those answers to deduce down to the smallest 2-digit number factor, largest 2- digit number, smallest 3 digit factor etc.

  14. @ms loh, we chose 3 because we should always start with smallest prime number ,2,is the smallest but 3375 is not divisible by so we chose 3 as it was the next smallest number that is able to divide 3375.-ze specs
